Material construction

  • High-grade EPDM rubber lining, flexible at low temperatures, also suitable for hot water
  • This type of rubber guarantees a very smooth lining with low friction loss
  • Very good adhesion between the rubber and jacket

Advantages

  • Designed for the most challenging tasks! This hose comes with everything needed for indoor firefighting. The very small bending radius, by far the best abrasion resistance and huge performance reserves make this product a piece of life insurance in a hose pack for interior firefighting!
  • Burst pressure over 85 bar for high performance reserves
  • Still achieves a burst pressure of over 70 bar after a DIN Level 3 abrasion test
  • Very small bending radius resulting in less kinking = longer lifespan
  • Extremely high abrasion resistance thanks to special GH 4Z system
  • Distinctive design with contrasting weave for high visibility in indoor firefighting
  • Clearly exceeds Level 3 requirements (DIN 14811/A2) for abrasion
  • Standard GH HOSE GUARD protects against coupling defects
  • Stainless-steel wire hose binding
  • Less susceptible to tangling and stretching
  • Suitable for all types of hose washing systems

Pressures

Working pressure:

Specifications apply only to the hose (medium water, 20 °C). The potential working pressure may be lower than specified above for hose lines with couplings due to the nominal pressure of the couplings or the type of assembly.

Maximum working pressure:

Approval can only be given by the manufacturer upon clarification of the exact area of application.

GOLLMER & HUMMEL -
established since 1872

What began in 1872 with 1.5 km of hand-woven fire hose made of hemp by master rope maker Friedrich Gollmer is today the global player operating worldwide in various industries. Nevertheless, it is a family business - in the 5th generation.
